Extraordinary Ministers of Most Holy Communion offer the Eucharist at weekend and other Masses. These parishioners are required to attend a 90-minute diocesan workshop and a parish training session. Addition duties included distributing ashes on Ash Wednesday and blessing throats on the Feast of Saint Blasé. A volunteer group also takes the Eucharist to those who are ill or otherwise homebound.
